MRV&CO INTEGRATES THE B3 CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY INDEX (ISE) PORTFOLIO FOR THE 4th CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Index reinforces the company's commitment to stricter compliance and corporate governance practices
MRV&CO was once again selected to be part of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) 2020 portfolio. For the fourth consecutive year, the company was recognized for its practices in corporate governance, compliance, environmental and social sustainability, as well as promoting the economic efficiency of the business.
The new index, which has just turned 15 years old, will enter into force from 6 January 2020 until 1 January 2021. Based on the closing of the stock exchange on November 26, 2019, the new ISE portfolio represents 15 different sectors of the economy and has 36 shares of 30 companies.
"We are very satisfied with this achievement. The recognition shows how much MRV has worked for the continuous development of the company’s main pillars involving corporate governance, compliance, sustainability and finance, "says Raphael Lafeta, Executive Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability at MRV.
The process of the 2019 portfolio of ISE B3 had again the external assurance of KPMG, which issued an opinion of "Limited Assurance without Reservations". The assurance of the ISE B3 process is carried out since 2012, which gives even more credibility and reliability to the index. In addition, ISE B3 follows the partnership of daily press monitoring made by the company "Imagem Corporativa".
