The Ethos Institute promoted in June, the first Ethos Conference of 2019, held in Rio de Janeiro with 20 panels that addressed topics and discussions with the aim of generating the engagement of companies and leaders, facing the agenda of sustainable development and innovation.
MRV&CO, represented by its Executive Manager of Risks, Internal Audit and Compliance, Alex de Souza Medeiros, composed the panel "Governance and Culture of Integrity - spaces of constant maturation and positioning of high leadership" together with specialists Edson Monje (Director of Compliance and Risks of the Invepar Group), Luana Palmieri (Audit, Risk and Control Manager at Firjan) and mediated by Paula Oda (Coordinator of Business Practices and Public Policies of the Ethos Institute).
The panel stressed the importance of leadership engagement in the implementation, development and establishment of a culture of integrity "The importance of a culture of integrity in the strategic conduct of the company’s business is becoming increasingly evident," said Alex.
This was the fourth edition of the Ethos Conference, considered the largest event of its kind in Latin America and one of the largest in the world, which will still have editions in 2019 in São Paulo, Recife and Belém.
