From 1 August, companies that did not conform to the LGPD began to take the risk of being penalized. Knowing the stage of compliance with the requirements of the law in which companies find themselves and their motivations and difficulties in adapting, can serve as a stimulus and guidance for companies that still seek to implement their best practices. Also, understand who leads the company’s preparation for the law, and what level of knowledge and involvement of the Councils, the highest body, with LGPD can be useful.
In the 5° episode of the series "LGPD for Business: Theory in Practice", held on the last day 10, professors Dalton Sardenberg and Fernando Santiago presented a recent survey they conducted involving more than 200 companies on the LGPD and the Councils.
They were invited to share their experiences in adapting their organizations to LGDP: Alex Medeiros, GRC and Privacy Manager - MRV&CO DPO and Jeferson Thomas, Data Protection and Privacy Manager at Sicredi Cooperative Bank
