It was held on October 17 and 18, 2019 the Integrity Congress, offered by Viaética, which had the sponsorship and the participation of MRV&CO.
The event brought together professionals and experts in Compliance, Audit and Technology and Security who presented successful and failed cases, addressing and discussing market practices aimed at the development of management and new technologies that facilitate the performance in the area.
MRV&CO’s Compliance Officer, Maria Fernanda Menin T. de Souza Maia, participated in the panel "Governance of Compliance - From family businesses to large corporations" where she presented the evolution of the Compliance area and the good practices currently adopted within MRV&CO.
Alex de Souza Medeiros, Executive Manager of Risks, Internal Audit, Compliance and Corporate Security, presented the lecture "Compliance x Cyber Security: What has been done to prevent cyber crimes"It is based on negligence regarding cybersecurity, becoming increasingly a challenge in a widely connected society.
MRV&CO was also present in the "LGPD Compliance: How will LGPD affect most companies? What actions do you take? How to prioritize and implement compliance?" , where Guilherme Freitas, Legal Director, addressed the challenges and opportunities that the new law will bring to the market and how MRV&CO has been preparing for its adaptation.
