With the objective to promote good practices of Compliance on all it’s chains of value, MRV&CO, one of the largest construction companies and land developers in Latin America, is the first company in the department of civil construction that started to be a part of the movement of leaders, in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), responsible for the Compromise of the Private Sector for the Integrity of the Production Chain. After signing, MRV&CO reinforces the commitment to Ethics, Transparency and Integrity in all relations with the public of the company.
The 16 CEOs of big companies in Brazil seek to guarantee that their products and services goes to their final consumers being made with complete integrity, requiring that all of the partners involved in the process applies good practices. “We understand that we must care about all the stakeholders that participates in our production chain, our direct and indirect contributors, our clients, possible clients, our shareholders, providers, even those who takes part of our chain somehow”, says Eduardo Fisher, president of MRV&CO.
The commitment with Ethics and Integrity is a part of the day of the majority of big Brazilian companies. “MRV&CO reinforces our manners in our process and also in our integrity culture, through the Integrity Program. However, small and midsize companies have more difficulty installing this kind of policies, that’s why we are committed to help and make an effort to propose new solutions of integrity is fundamental to achieve better results in the battle against corruption”, pointed out Fisher.
Knowing it’s importance as economic agent and social changing in the society, MRV&CO is the only brazilian constructor that, after five years consequential, is a part of the B3's Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE B3). Besides that, MRV signs UN Global Compact since 2016, that has the purpose of mobilizing all international community of companies to adopt ESG’s manners using Objectives of Sustainable Developing.
